Scholarships

We received several worthy applications for scholarships from Stamford students. This year we awarded three scholarships of $2,500 to three outstanding students. Congratulations to Maggie Fleischer, Isabel Geca, and Sylvia Maciczkiewicz. We wish you luck in your studies. Please check back in 2026 for next year’s application.

The Kiwanis Club of Stamford was founded in 1917 and is a volunteer community service organization. The Kiwanis Club of Stamford has approved funding for at least 3 college scholarships of $2,500 each to be awarded this spring (2025) to High School seniors who are residents of Stamford. Recipients will be selected by the club’s Scholarship Committee based on service to the Stamford Community, financial need, and demonstrated academic achievement.

INSTRUCTIONS

Complete in full the attached application and information forms.

Include Scholastic Record (Transcript) and resume/activity sheet which should include scholastic honors, extracurricular activities, community service and employment background Write a one-page essay about the community service activities you have been engaged in and what you have learned from those experiences.
